Dear admirers of classical music,
Prague Proms and Czech National Symphonic Orchestra would like to bring you to the mountains - to the Alps especially. The name of the event has been derived from the famous „Alpine symphony" by Richard Strauss. The Alpine Symphony will be accompanied by „Pastoral Symphons by" by Leopold Mozart, Amadeus' father.

Guests will be pleased to hear the alphorn as well, the most common music instrument in the Alps. Besides, the audience will have the chance to hear a part of opera Wilhelm Tell by Gioachino Rossini. The concert will be conducted by Libor Pešek.
