Lenka Škopová became the first Czech woman in history to become CEO of Nestlé for Czechia and Slovakia. She was appointed to head the Czech and Slovak branches at the beginning of the year. She replaces Michiel Kernkamp, who had been at the helm of Nestlé for Czechia, Slovakia, and Central and Eastern Europe since 2020.
Prior to that, Lenka Škopová worked at Nestlé for five years as Chief Financial Officer, while also being responsible for economic management and planning in Central and Eastern Europe. She also has experience from Nestlé’s headquarters in Switzerland, where she worked as a market controller for Central and Eastern Europe and was also responsible for overseeing the Nescafé Dolce Gusto category for the European region.
Swiss-based Nestlé is one of the world’s largest food companies, operating in nearly 200 countries. The Czech branch of the world’s leading confectionery manufacturer posted a net profit of approximately CZK 310 million last year, representing an increase of about 1.5 percent compared to 2023.
