The HST Chamber of Commerce serves as a vital link between Switzerland and the Czech Republic, promoting mutual trade, fostering business relationships, and facilitating economic collaboration.
HST Brings together dozens of companies
The HST Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Czech Republic was founded on July 1, 1991. However, its roots go back much further, to 1972, when on the initiative of chemical and pharmaceutical companies, the HST Handelskammer Schweiz Tschechoslowakei was founded in Zurich on the occasion of the re-signing of the trade agreement between Switzerland and Czechoslovakia.
HST has been supporting economic relations between the Czech Republic and Switzerland for 30 years. It is a mixed chamber supporting two-way mutual trade and relations. The HST’s stable base consists of approximately 150 members. Among them are not only representatives of Swiss companies operating on the Czech market, but also other important organizations and individuals. The HST is managed by the presidency, which represents the chamber externally, the highest body is the Member Meeting, which meets once a year.
Vision
To be the main facilitator and catalyst for fostering strong economic relations between the Czech Republic and Switzerland by proactively advocating for the interests of Swiss businesses, helping Czech businesses establish themselves in Switzerland, creating a dynamic network for members to collaborate, and leveraging our collective strengths to achieve greater value within the HST community.
Mission
- To promote trade and economic relations between the Czech Republic and Switzerland, to defend the interests of Swiss companies in the Czech Republic and to help Czech businesses do business in Switzerland.
- To bring together members and provide them with a platform for mutual meetings, exchange of contacts, information, experience and the creation of business opportunities
- To provide and facilitate services within the HST community using internal synergies
