In May, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited St. Gallen alongside her delegation and the Thai ambassador to tour Bischoff Textil. The visit, which was scheduled for 45 minutes, ran for two hours, with the princess expressing particular interest in the company’s embroidery collection, claimed to be the largest in the world.
Bischoff Textil has collaborated with Thailand for over 30 years through their joint venture Bischoff Gamma. It is where most of the company’s embroidery is manufactured for the fashion market.
CEO Gwen Aubry said it was a “great honor” to welcome the princess and that the company was able to show itself at its best.
