30 Swiss Companies Compete for Green Business Award

Green Business Switzerland has announced the thirty finalists who will compete for Switzerland’s most prestigious sustainability prize.

Switzerland’s most innovative companies, who best combine environmental impact with economic sucess, are chosen as finalists. In contrast from previous years, SMEs and scale-ups will be recognized seperately in an effort to demonstrate the value both have in transforming business models to achieve environmental solutions.

The goal of the award is to “spotlight what works.” As explained by former Federal Councilor and current Jury President of Green Buisness Switzerland, Doris Leuthard, “Saving our planet is not a charitable endeavor, but the business model of the future.”

Past winners of this award include: Oxyle for their treatments that remove PFAS forever chemicals from water supplies, LEDcity’s sensor based lighting system that adjusts light levels automatically, and Eberhard who recycles construction waste like sand and gravel into new building materials.
