However, its roots go much deeper, to 1972, when the HST Handelskammer Schweiz Tschechoslowakei was founded in Zurich on the initiative of chemical and pharmaceutical companies on the occasion of the re-signing of the trade agreement between Switzerland and Czechoslovakia.
