The history and future of the Swiss franc

The Swiss Embassy in the Czech Republic, the Swiss-Czech Chamber of Commerce, and the Czech Banking Association invite you to a lecture and discussion on the Swiss franc and a presentation of Costa Vayenas’ book The Swiss Franc from 1798 to 2055.

You will learn

+ what role the Swiss franc plays in the global economy + about the phenomenon of low Swiss interest rates

+ how the strong franc and low interest rates are affecting the Swiss economy, banking system, and industrial activity

Costa Vayenas

worked as a financial analyst for UBS in London, New York, and Zurich. For more than ten years, he lectured at the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich as a guest lecturer. He is now the Chief Investment Officer at Genesis Investment Partners.
